On April 16-17, Advent participated in the 9th OurOcean Conference, held this year at the prestigious Stavros Niarchos Cultural Center in Athens, Greece. Our Chairman and CEO, Dr. Vasilis Gregoriou, represented us at this exclusive gathering, which brought together leaders from across the globe, including government officials, NGOs, academia, philanthropists, and industry representatives, all united in their commitment to safeguarding the ocean. During the event, we were honored to join in insightful discussions with key stakeholders of the global maritime community and share our vision of utilizing HT-PEM fuel cells, powered by sustainable liquid green fuels like eMethanol, to drive forward decarbonization efforts in the sector. From powering smaller vessels such as leisure boats and ferries to supporting auxiliary loads on larger ships, our technology offers versatile solutions for reducing emissions and promoting cleaner maritime operations. As governments and non-state actors came together to pledge concrete actions for ocean conservation, Advent is excited to contribute to this vital mission. We are fully committed to playing our part in achieving net-zero emissions in the maritime sector by 2050.
