Advent’s Chairman and CEO, Dr. Vasilis Gregoriou, participated as a speaker in an insightful panel discussion at the “European Hydrogen Strategy – European Hydrogen Bank” event, along with key stakeholders of the Greek #hydrogen community.
The event was organized by Hydrogen Europe in cooperation with the Prefectures of Western Macedonia, Crete, and Thessaly, as well as Greece’s Committee for the National Hydrogen Strategy.
Dr. Gregoriou stressed, among other things, the great potential that green hydrogen holds for ensuring an environmentally cleaner and sustainable future for Europe. Furthermore, Dr. Gregoriou expressed his confidence that Greece will be a major contributor to Europe’s clean energy transition, highlighting how Advent’s Green HiPo project demonstrates the commitment of Greece and the European Union to decarbonize power production rapidly and to move forward to energy security and independence, with hydrogen technologies playing a crucial role.
