Job Summary:

Electronic assemblers prepare and place electronic components within a variety of devices. This role will contribute to the fabrication and assembly of Testers, fixtures, & frames. This is a highly technical, detail-oriented position, requiring extensive familiarity with circuit boards and electronic components as well as soldering and other methods of assembling electronics securely so they work as expected.

This is a highly technical, detail-oriented position, requiring extensive familiarity with circuit boards and electronic components as well as soldering and other methods of assembling electronics securely so they work as expected.

Our company is seeking an Electronic Assembler to assist with electronic assemblies and subassemblies. In this position, you will work with electrical or electronic components, such as modules and circuit boards. This role involves following repetitive production standards, so we will consider any applicant with manual dexterity and mechanical aptitude. However, any soldering and wiring experience you may have is beneficial. Other job functions will include testing products before they are packaged.

Essential Functions:

  • Wire, assemble, and install electrical and electronic components according to blueprint specifications
  • Perform tests on finished products before packaging
  • Notify engineering of any flaws in documentation
  • Complete device history records and daily production logs
  • Maintain a clean and safe workspace
  • Complete other tasks as necessary

Qualifications Required:

  • A high school diploma or GED certificate
  • Soldering experience
  • Wiring experience a plus
  • Mechanical aptitude and the ability to follow directions
  • Manual dexterity

Nice to have:

  • Familiarity with VISUAL or SolidWorks PDM software packages
  • Understands analysis and interpretation of analytical data
  • Familiar with various fuel cell design concepts
  • Some experience in Electrochemistry and/or Catalytic Chemistry

Personal Attributes:

  • Must be self starter
  • Must be comfortable working in high pressure environment
  • Must be comfortable working in start up environment typically with minimal support staff

Other:

  • Some travel required
  • Some lifting required
