Advent Technologies is looking to hire an EU Funded Projects Assistant in Kozani, Greece.
About the Role
As an EU Funded Projects Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the development, submission, and management of European and national funding proposals. You will collaborate closely with internal teams and external stakeholders, ensuring compliance with regulations and contributing to the success of our innovative energy projects. You will report to the Head of EU funding & Business Development.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing and submitting grant proposals for EU and national funding opportunities.
- Coordinate documentation, budgets, and timelines to ensure timely and accurate submissions.
- Support project management tasks, including tracking milestones, deliverables, and reporting.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant EU funding programs and regulations.
- Liaise with partners, clients, and funding bodies to facilitate effective communication.
- Contribute to internal project planning and operational processes.
- Lead the execution of small-scale projects in training and market studies.
What We’re Looking For
- A degree in engineering, energy, environmental sciences, or a related field.
- Interest or experience in energy technologies, particularly hydrogen and fuel cells, is a plus.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with keen attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; additional EU languages are a bonus.
- Familiarity with EU funding mechanisms (Horizon Europe, Innovation Fund, etc.) is an advantage but not required—enthusiasm to learn is key!
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; knowledge of project management tools is a plus.
